LAGE
The Buccaneer is located towards the eastern end of St. Croix, less than a five minute drive from sightseeing, shopping and dining found in the historic town of Christiansted.
Approximate driving time from Henry E. Rohlsen International Airport (STX) to the Buccaneer is 25 minutes and distance is 12 miles. Shuttles operate daily to downtown Christiansted. Taxis are stationed at the resort. Air-conditioned vans provide 24-hour shuttle service throughout the resort.

* Nature and History Walk: Join general manager Elizabeth Armstrong on Wednesday mornings for an informative narrative on the flora, fauna and fascinating history of the Buccaneer.
* Fitness Center and Jogging Trail: Use of the hotel's fitness equipment, including treadmills, elliptical machines, recumbent cycles, leg curls, lat rower, bench press, bicept / tricept curl, leg extensions and free weights, is available 24/7. For outdoor fitness, a meandering two-mile trail that includes Par Course work-out stations can be accessed in the early morning and late afternoon hours.
* Beaches: The Buccaneer's three beaches are recognized as some of the finest beaches on St. Croix. Palm-shaded and protected, Mermaid Beach is the Buccaneer's main beach, and features the Mermaid restaurant and water-sports center. The Grotto pool and grill are located on Grotto Beach. Three holes of the golf course line the shoreline of this beautiful beach, along with another water-sport center. Whistle Beach is an over-the-hill beach favored for its privacy.
