Located on Harbour Island, part of the Out Island of Harbour Islands of the Bahamas, Pink Sands is a 20-acre haven set by the edge of the famous three-mile pink sand beach. Designed by Biba founder Barbara Hulanicki - Pink Sands comprises 25 pastel-colored cottages scattered throughout lush tropical grounds.

Pink Sands is located 50 miles east of Nassau on Harbour Island. Harbour Island has one of the oldest communities in the Bahamas with pastel colored clapboard houses dating back to the 1800s nestled along the harbour front. Only three miles in length and a half-mile in width, Harbour Island is known for its fabulous pink sand beach and island hospitality.
Pink Sands is 20 minutes from the North Eleuthera international airport (ELH) by land and water taxi transportation. The nearest airport is North Eleuthera international (ELH) and is serviced from Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and Nassau.

* The Pink Sands Hotel's main building serves as the resort's social hub. The decor includes richly textured, multi-colored East Indian fabrics, Balinese furniture, Moroccan light fixtures, and Balinese-style straw-paddle ceiling fans, as well as artifacts from Morocco and Asia. A lily pond borders one side of the building, and another pond is in the lobby. The hotel's library offers shelves of books and movies, comfortable seating, and a big-screen television with DVD player.
* Lobby Restaurant & Bar Breakfast is served under shade trees on lavender-painted wood dining sets. Dinner is served inside amid the main building's East Indian, Moroccan, and Balinese furnishings. Soft, amber lighting from candles and hanging metal fixtures. Signature dishes created daily by the chef.
* Blue Bar Blue bar is located on seagrape-covered dunes above the beach. All-blue decor, including furniture, floor, napkins, and salt and pepper shakers. Open-air seating beneath wood roof or on a sundeck with table umbrellas. Serving breakfast and lunch. Menu features conch salad and fritters, cracked conch, crab cakes, smoked-salmon tempura, lobster quiche, burgers, sandwiches, salads, pasta, and grilled fish.
* Three tennis courts are available for guests, including one illuminated for night play. Pink Sands Hotel provides complimentary kayaks, snorkeling gear, and boogie boards for use on the beach. The main building's bar has a pool table. A 24-hour fitness center includes a stairmaster, treadmill, free-weights, and lifecycle, as well as showers and changing rooms.

* Pink Sands Hotel offers 25 guestrooms in 18 cottages. Rooms have private terraces furnished with weathered-teak dining sets, cushioned lounge chairs, and umbrellas. Limestone-tile floors, white-canvas overstuffed chairs, and muted-tone, multi-colored bedspreads accent the monochromatic interior. Bathrooms feature decorative tiles.
* In addition to air-conditioning, rooms at Pink Sands Hotel have louvered windows and ceiling fans. Beds feature dual-control electric blankets and two reading lights. Entertainment options include U.S. cable TV, VCRs, DVD players, and CD/cassette players. All rooms have a complimentary CD library, and complimentary video and DVD movies are available. Wet bars include compact refrigerators, which are stocked with drinks and snacks.
