The family-friendly hotel, formerly known as Bucharest hotel, was taken over by the famous Romanian Footballer Gica Hagi in 1999. Considerable investment and a modernisation programme were undertaken and two years later, on 4 july 2001, a brand new hotel appeared on the map of Mamaia.
The beach hotel, which consists of a main building and a neighbouring building, is spread over three floors with a total of 98 rooms, including junior suites, double rooms, apartments, and a terrace.
