Approximate driving times are one and a half hours from Inverness and two and a half - three hours from Glasgow.
From Inverness Airport please Drive towers towards Inverness city center and then take A82 straight to Fort William.
From Glasgow Airport drive towards Glasgow city center on M8, from M8 take A82 for Crianlarch, and follow A82 towards Fort William.

By Rail:
Scotrail runs a regular service from Glasgow Queen Street along the famous West Highland line. There is also a sleeper service available from London.

A little further north still, just off the Mallaig road near Corpach, you can explore Neptune's Staircase, the flight of eight locks near the southern end of the Caledonian Canal.In some ways, Fort William's major attraction is Ben Nevis, at 1344m Britain's highest mountain. This is reached from Glen Nevis, also the starting point for a great number of other walks, ranging from the strenuous to the much less so.
