The Aconcagua is a remodeled first class hotel located in the heart of the city and close to the main square. All of the guest rooms are comfortable and nicely equipped to give a feeling of relaxed luxury. Rooms are air conditioned, with coffee/tea making facilities, mini bar, and radio, in room safety deposit box, satellite TV, cable, direct dial telephone, and individual temperature control.
Built for the 1978 soccer World Cup, the Aconcagua has a huge lobby with floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto a well-manicured lawn area. It lends a sense of spaciousness to the lobby, which otherwise might feel claustrophobic with its low ceilings. The entryway is a bit strange, dominated by the valet parking, but once you're through the front doors, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
A recent remodelling job really spruced things up. Indigenous motifs now adorn the headboards, and Mapuche-style wall hangings add color to the walls. The suites, which have a very calming atmosphere thanks to their soft wood tones, are particularly inviting. It's a modern hotel and good value for top notch digs overall.

The Aconcagua Hotel is situated in the heart of the town that lies at the foot of the Andes Mountains and is like an oasis with its many canals and tree-lined streets. It is close to the Main Square and 12 km from The International airport.
